Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery):  As you age, the skin around the upper and lower eyelids loose their elasticity and sag. Fat can also herniate out of it's normal compartment and cause the eyelids to appear puffy.

A blapharoplasty is performed by making incision in the natural skin creases around the eyes. The scars are usually barely visible. The procedure involve removing either skin, fat, or both. The surgery is usually performed under local anesthesia with intravenous sedation (twilight sleep).
