Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS): This is part of the nerve compression syndromes. Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by compression of the median nerve at the level of the wrist. CTS usually presents as numbness or tingling in the hand either while working or while asleep. Pain and weakness can also be symptoms.
